Shop Review: This opens with dark aromas of leather, tobacco, cured meat, plum and prune. It shows soft tannins and loads of dark fruit on the finish.
My Review: I thought this wine was going to have more bite than it did; it was very smooth and had notes of berry, cherry and wood. I had this wine without any food, but I would suspect it to pair well with red meat and potatoes.
